I worked with Merle at EnergySolutions in Oak Ridge, he was very knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge with the radiation safety techs in the group, but more than that he was a great person and good friend. Me and Merle had a lot of laughs at work and at the company golf tournaments. He will be missed by all that knew and worked with him.
Prayers,

Mrs. Larson and Family, my wife and I purchased your old home in Oak Ridge in 2014. We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Larson a few times during the buying/selling process. From the few conversations we shared, it was very apparent that he cherished his family. Knowing that I had a two-year-old daughter (now eight) at the time, he declared your old home to be the perfect place to raise daughters; he was right. Whenever he spoke of you all, he always had a big smile on his face and a light shining in his eyes. I am very sorry for the loss of your husband and father. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
