Obituary of Lillian Marie Nelson

Lillian Marie Nelson, 99, of Lindsborg passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Bethany Home. Lillian was born October 5, 1921 in Lindsborg, KS to the late Julius and the late Myrtle (Kimmel) Esping. Lillian graduated from Salina High School and on May 27, 1941, she married Carl M. Nelson in Salina, KS. She was a retired food service worker at Bethany College. Survivors include her daughter: Carla Jamison (Keith) of Destin, FL son: Jim Nelson (Betty) of Lindsborg, KS; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Carl; brothers: Bob and Jim Esping; sister Marjorie Sartori; and great grandson: Benjamin Carl Nelson. Private family committal will take place at Elmwood Cemetery. Memorial services will be held in the fall. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church or to Bethany Home.
